graphics and logo work

a 360 design studio featuring the work of portland web designer. Services offered range from web design focusing on interface and eCommerce systems, print design and complete branding packages. The general philosophy of design is an immersion style; working on only one project at a time, giving that design absolute attention. The rates for website design tend to be around 70% less than other web studios. Web design costs range from $600 to $5000 depending on size and function of the site. portland oregon web designers offer a complete branding package to new businesses for $1,500. This includes: a small website (including all server negotiation, e.mail setup and initial search placement), logo design, design of all print elements (business cards, invoices, letterhead etc.), media kit and/or or brochure design, print ad & web banner design, and most anything else specific to creating the personality of your new business. eCommerce and larger websites can be added as well.

portland oregon graphics and branding packages

A branding package is essentially a consistent visual personality constructed to represent a business, product, service, event, etc.
The basic branding package includes the following:
• The design of all essential print materials* - including business cards, letterhead, invoices, a print or web banner ad - created to the specs of all publications or websites in which you'll be advertising, for events - posters, flyers, table cards and id tags, for products - labels or tags, a simple brochure, and pretty much any essential print elements. Click here to see some sniffy print branding projects.
• A logo, or if you already have one, any changes and update work (such as reformatting for print or web) on your existing logo is included.
• A small informational website is included (including all server negotiations, e.mail setup and initial search placement).
• This is a very flexible package and includes just about anything else specific to creating a consistent personality for your business.
• This package can be added to, say if a client wants a larger website capable of eCommerce transactions. It can also be subtracted from, such as if someone doesn't plan to do any print or web advertising. In these cases the cost is adjusted to fit the extent of the changes.
*Please note that sniffy isn't a print shop, the package doesn't include print costs. I do make sure all costs are as they should be, help choose the right shop for the job, see everything to completion and proof all printing along the way.

portland design studio for web and print

The portland web design studio featuring the website design and web graphics work of portland oregon designer in unique portland web design and graphic based web environments. Though all sniffy website design projects are artistically based, there is no loss of function to form. The Studio is in portland oregon. A focus in creative web design and functional website design was originated when web designers were still struggling with the limits of the web. An exciting development since then is quite a few of the original constraints have been lifted. I've always worked to push the boundaries in all media from physical design to digital imaging. sniffy is also a press as well as a place for portland designers. focusing on retro web design, using images and ad genre from the 1950's and 1960's. Portland writers are also published through the small press as the studio continues to be a force in the independednt publishing community. The work of portland web designer featured here at the studio is one of the more unique portland web design working in site design in portland oregon. the approach is different from other web designers in portland oregon because the websites rely heavily on graphic design, the visual interface of website design in this sense is key to the website environment. Often the work at the studio falls under the heading of retro website design, relying on retro graphics and tomes from the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's.

portland designer and history of the studio

The studio has been in existence in certain forms since 1995. Started as a studio for furniture design
and fabrication, I found I was often being asked to design and fabricate signage and in store elements
for local businesses. This eventually spread into branding and other graphics work. In 1999 the press was formed, and shortly after that, the web factory.

Having spent quite a long time in visual design, I found myself applying many of the same techniques
I used in the design of physical objects, into website construction, and so my approach took the shape
of focusing on creating unique websites as functional art spaces, as opposed to simple, visually boring
pages.

Though my approach definitely comes from a visual design perspective, I’m also immersed in functionality
processes in web design. My sites are constructed to be fast loading, functional and search engine friendly.
I’m able to create shopping carts and credit interface for eCommerce. My experience is form doesn’t have to be
lost to function, and there’s no reason why complete functionality can’t be expressed in a visually dynamic space.

My education includes a BS in sculpture with a minor in art history, and a double major concentration in
psychology with a focus in cognition. I’m not sure if any of that is relevant, but people sometimes like
to know these kinds of things.

In addition to being a portland web design studio and hub for the work of portland designer and an epress offering work from over 50 writers worldwide. the press works in eBook publishing as well as literary layout and process. The writers are very carefully chosen for their style for the small press and independednt publishing projects.

graphic design and logos

Though the work in portland web design is image based and unique to portland web designers in the visual sense. The website design is fully functioning, offering complete shopping cart systems and user editable pages when needed. there are also also offers of inexpensive web design packages for startup businesses. Most web designers generally have a set fee, oregon web design can be quite expensive. There's a package with all design elements needed for a small business, including business card design, invoices, letterhead and logo design. This web design package isn't only available to customers. in the virtual world of website design the fact the office is one place doesn't limit the work to local businesses. You can visit website design portfolios and check out the websites constructed for small businesses as well as private parties. visual environments with absolute programming and functionality, including navigability mapping are available. Our goal is to provide your business with a personality on the web which reflects your business to be disseminated throughout the world.
